To come to us

Address :

Montbazon Fortress

12/14 Château Street

37250 MONTBAZON

The car park is located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance

Bus parking (groups and schools):

A drop-off point is available along the RD910, below the fortress in the direction of Poitiers.

Two bus parking areas are available: one at the town's Technical Centre on Rue de la Cocharde and the other in the car park at the north entrance of Montbazon, behind the tourist office.

By public transport:

The TER train station (Tours-Loches line) is located 800 meters from the fortress.

Several departmental bus lines serve Montbazon, the nearest stop is 200 meters away.

Did you know? By presenting your TER ticket dated that day, you benefit from a reduced fare on the ticket office.

By bicycle:

The fortress has been awarded the Accueil Vélo (Cyclists Welcome) label, and two bicycle parking areas are available (one in front of the fortress entrance and another before the ticket office). As a reminder, the Indre River flows at the foot of the fortress, placing us on the CycloBohème route.

Charging stations - electric cars:

Charging stations are available in Montbazon in the Val de l'Indre car park, between the campsite and the Montbazon tourist office (600 metres from the fortress, Parc de la Grange Rouge, 37250 MONTBAZON)

Accessibility for all

We do our best to allow all visitors to access the Montbazon fortress and all of its activities, but also through a policy towards our employees, stakeholders, environmental and social.

However, we are classified as Historical Monuments, and, in this context, are subject to special accessibility constraints.

If you have a motor disability or mobility difficulties, please contact us before your visit. There is a step before the entrance to the site, and the entire area is covered in gravel.

You can find our accessibility register here.

Finally, we are listed on the Acceslibre platform; you will find useful access information just below.
