Our project - our story
The fortress of Montbazon is a thousand-year-old building, nestled in the heart of the castles and the Loire Valley.
Contrary to other local sites, both in terms of the period covered and the way of transmitting information, the experience lived by our visitors and immersion through pedagogy is at the heart of our concerns.
The Montbazon fortress is a private site managed by an association, Les Chevaliers du Faucon Noir.
This association, made up of lovers of History, and of transmission in the broadest sense, manages a team of employees, freelancers and interns to restore this stronghold to its former glory.
More than that, she is leading a larger project, the Montbazon Archaeological Site!
